Garden Update!

It’s happening! Look! We have a garden! Even though we got off to a late start by planting a fall garden, our seeds have begun to sprout and grow! The boys are so excited to see this process — selecting the seeds and now seeing them sprout into the vegetables they chose has made them quite proud. I’m personally proud that ANYTHING has sprouted at all — but even more proud that it looks like most of the boxes are THRIVING!

The cabbage is growing!

The boys to selected seeds for leafy greens and vegetables that we eat a lot of here in our own kitchen. I added in some herbs to the mix and a few flowers, but overall, I let the boys do all the picking. Here’s a roundup of everything we planted:

• Spinach

• Kale

• Cabbage

• Beets (Golden)

• Carrots

• Romaine Lettuce

• Arugula

• Green Onions

• CIlantro

• Basil

• Italian Parsley

Hopefully soon we can harvest some of these goodies! In the meantime, have a look at the progress!
